The time to handle a crisis in the workplace is before it happens
The explicit goal of crisis response is to restore your business to normal functioning and productivity quickly and effectively.
You may not be able to prevent a disturbed person from making threats of violence;
You may not be able to foresee a faulty wire causing a workplace fire
You may not be able to detect an employee’s depression and suicidal intent
But, you can prepare for the unexpected with a Trauma Outreach Associates Crisis Response Plan.
Your Individualized Crisis Response Plan has two parts.
Part I: Developing your Crisis Response Structure:
The Crisis Response Structure of your plan identifies key players in your response strategy and delineates their specific roles and responsibilities for when a crisis occurs. This part of the plan should be filled out by HR or other personnel familiar with the employee infrastructure and roles.
Part II: Establishing the effectiveness of your Crisis Response Plan:
A plan is only as good as its ability to be implemented. We don’t expect you to be the experts. For a nominal fee, Trauma Outreach Associates will help anchor your Crisis Response Plan for you. We will review Part I; test and evaluate the effectiveness of your Crisis Response Structure; train and educate the key players you have identified; and begin building a bond, so we get to know you and your unique needs. The plan is immediate, clear and critical—because when you’re in the middle of a crisis, you can’t think straight. And, when a crisis does occur, we will arrive on-site and help your crisis response team implement their plan. We will consult, consolidate and provide the most efficient and essential trauma treatment to restore your business to pre-incident levels.
