Our Crisis Response Team
Trauma Outreach Responders are all experienced licensed mental health practitioners with training in Critical Incident Stress Management and extensive expertise in trauma and recovery.

Sally Cerreta, MFT, CADC specializes in grief counseling with an emphasis on suicidology. She is certified by the American Association of Suicidology as a crisis worker and is Clinical Director at San Francisco Suicide Prevention. Ms Cerreta is a member of the International Critical Incident Stress Foundation and is in the process of acquiring a Certificate of Specialized Training in Critical Incident Stress Management. She maintains a private practice with the emphasis on depression, survivors of suicide/homicide and grief.

Mark Cutmore, LCSW, has had over 19 years experience in the mental health and criminal justice systems in San Francisco. He currently participates in several crisis response teams at Kaiser and specializes in trauma treatment and response in his private practice in Berkeley, CA.

Eric Denner, MFT, CADC, is a clinical social worker at San Francisco General Hospital's Trauma Recovery Center where he works with adult victims of interpersonal violence. A Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist and Certified Alcohol & Drug Counselor with a private practice in San Francisco, Mr. Denner works with adults, adolescents, couples, and families dealing with the effects of trauma, substance use, depression, anxiety, and other emotional difficulties.

Michael Elder, MFT, is a psychotherapist with over 13 years experience with trauma survivors. He currently works at the Contra Costa County main jail where he is the lead clinician for their CISM team. Mr Elder has a special interest in cultural context and the unique needs of the people he serves.

Evelyn Hoch, LCSW, MFT, has worked as a mental health professional in the Bay Area for 25 years since receiving her masters degree from the University of Chicago. Formerly the Clinical Director of the Pacific Center in Berkeley, CA, Ms. Hoch maintains a private practice and specializes in trauma management.

Phyllis Klein, LCSW, has been a therapist for over 25 years. She has worked with adolescents and adults in a variety of settings, including outpatient mental health agencies, employee assistance programs, and private practice. Ms Klein has a special interest in trauma work and crisis response.

Kathy Knudson, MFT, NCC, MAC, CADC 11, SAP is a psychotherapist and career counselor with a specialization in work-related issues. She is a certified EMDR practitioner, and provides mental health and substance abuse evaluations for the Department of Transportation and other licensing boards. Ms Knudson is a Disaster Mental Health responder for the American Red Cross.

Nancy Payne Lewis, MFT is the coordinator of San Francisco CAMFT's Emergency Response Team. She is also the Chapter coordinator for the Trauma Response Network. She has been licensed for over twenty years and maintains a private practice in the Financial District where she specializes in depression, substance abuse recovery and life transitions

Pamela Olson, MFT, has a private practice in San Francisco. She works with culturally diverse populations experiencing loss and trauma associated with childhood abuse, crime, divorce and death, and excels in teaching anger management.

Noam Salpeter, MFT, CCHT is a psychotherapist and hypnotherapist in San Francisco and Lafayette. He provides group and individual therapy as well as trainings. He has extensive experience in many psychotherapeutic settings and currently specializes in the treatment of pain and addiction.

Stephanie Weissman, Psy.D has been a clinician since 1984. She has extensive experience in working with traumatized children as well as child and adult survivors of sexual abuse. She maintains a private practice in San Francisco where she continues her specialization in trauma recovery.
